## Revolver 5 — Burundi Kayanza Masha Anaerobic Natural
Revolver 5 is one of those coffees that completely changes the room the second you grind it. Grown in the high elevations of Kayanza Province, Burundi, this anaerobic natural lot from the Masha Washing Station is loud in the best way possible — intensely fruity, wildly aromatic, and layered with syrupy sweetness.
Expect a cup bursting with notes of orange soda, ripe peach, raspberry candy, limeade, and honey. The anaerobic fermentation pushes the fruit character forward while still keeping the cup clean, balanced, and incredibly drinkable. It opens with sparkling acidity, transitions into juicy stone fruit sweetness, and finishes silky smooth with a lingering candy-like sweetness.
This lot was produced by thousands of smallholder Bourbon variety farmers surrounding the Masha Washing Station, where cherries were carefully selected and processed using anaerobic fermentation before drying naturally on raised beds. That combination creates a coffee that’s expressive, vibrant, and full of complexity without becoming overly funky. 
For Revolver 5, we took this coffee closer to a Full City roast profile to develop deeper sweetness and body while still preserving the explosive fruit character Burundi coffees are known for. The result is a cup that drinks like fruit punch up front with a smooth caramelized finish.
