Balam comes to us from Santa Ana, El Salvador, a region known for producing coffees with plenty of sweetness, mellow acidity, and a seriously satisfying body.
It's the kind of coffee that's easy to drink but still gives you something to nerd out about if you want to. Smooth enough for your first cup of the morning, interesting enough to keep you coming back for another.
Think chocolate-covered nuts, caramel sweetness, and a soft citrus finish without the sharp acidity or bitterness you might find in a darker roast.
